The North America Zone Cableship Maintenance Agreement (NAZ Agreement) is a non-profit cooperative cable maintenance agreement acting purely in the interests of its members. The NAZ Agreement was founded in 1992 to provide Cableship / ROV Maintenance Services to Undersea Cable Systems in the Northeast Pacific Region. The current NAZ Agreement, the NAZ 2012 Agreement, is supported by Global Marine's CS Innovator and its Depot Storage Facilities in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
The NAZ Agreement provides Repair, Survey and Maintenance & Improvement for the current 31 owner / operators (Maintenance Authorities) of Undersea Cable Systems in an Area ranging from Alaska to Mexico, mid-Pacific to the North American West Coast.
The NAZ Agreement provides its members with a high availability rate and industry leading KPI's at the lowest standing and running costs available. Value-added services available to all members include Cable Protection and Shore-end repair services.
